Foxton Seedy Sunday is a heritage and community project for Foxton and the surrounding villages, near Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

Our aim is to:

• Encourage greater awareness of the importance of gardens and green areas in the village
• Research and propogate local varieties of fruit, vegetables and plants
• Involve the community, whatever age, in growing their own plants from seed
• Develop a community vegetable swapping network
• Providing information and support for local gardeners, whatever their experience
• Help to safeguard the survival of non-commercial seed strains that cannot be sold because of EU regulations
• Have fun!
